Logline: A young athlete pushes himself at all costs even away from his friends to pursue greatness.

Description: This scene shows a story about a boy named Kai who is practicing soccer. The group’s goal is to show how hard Kai works to get better at the game. At first, he looks confused when he checks his phone and sees missed calls, but then he gets ready and heads to the field. The shots show him tying his shoes, walking, and starting to train. The camera angles and close-ups help us see how focused and determined he is, even when he’s tired. As the scene goes on, Kai practices dribbling, juggling, and shooting. The shots follow him closely, showing how he moves through cones and faces a goalkeeper. At first, he misses, but he keeps trying until he finally scores. The group uses different camera angles and movements to make the scene exciting and show Kai’s progress. The main message is about not giving up and working hard to reach your goals.

Critque: The film was simplistic, however lacked a very important key story elements. The story lacked the key component of development, as the main plot was around Kai (the player) improving by isolating himself and focusing on his craft. However we failed to capture his improvement and his trial and error. The selection of shot held back the film and was more of a training montage instead of a complete sequence of trial and error. The sound design also worked poorly, the dialoge did not fit in and sounded terrable. Overall the film had managed to achieve my goal but just the bare minimum.
